The 24th Industry Festival was held in October 19-21 at Onoyama Park. GOSEA had the opportunity to introduce OTEC and DSW industries in Kumejima at the “Ocean Energy” section of the “New Energy Industry Exhibition” this year.

Using the PICO OTEC which was brought from Kumejima, we demonstrated how temperature difference and a working fluid can turn a turbine and generate power.

Over 26 thousand people visited the festival over the 3 days. We were able to explain the OTEC system and the activities of Kumejima. Thank you to those who stopped by.
